Indian Railways has been the strength of the country even before it gained independence and has been serving the country very well for almost two centuries. When i visited India a few months back I just fell in luv with the rail newtwork operating in India.
The Indian Railway enabled me to see the villages of the country as there is a famous quote which says that the real India resides in villages. It is also one of the cheapest mods of transportation in the country as you can travel long distances in very few bucks.
Once you sit in the train out there and it starts moving you can witness some of the beautiful landscapes of the country and in case you would like to enjoy nature at its best it would be a good option to catch Konkan Railways and get to see the real beauty.
